This 6 storey building was built in the 1890s and in the 1920s one floor was added (so now it´s 7 stories.) The building has a richly decorated and grand stairwell/entrence (trapphus).
The building has a nice location on Jakobs torg (torg = square) in the district Norrmalm. It´s right actross from Sankt Jacobs Church. On the square there is also a bronze bust of Jussi Björling, sculpted by the Dutchman Pieter de Monchy. Jussi was and still is, a very famous Swedish opera singer.
In an article from 2016 I read that it had gone from apartments to being offices to now being developed into apartments again, I don´t now how far they have come by now. It was made into offices in the 1920s.
On the sign above the door it says “Detta hus byggdes under åren 1893-1894” meaning This house was built under the years 1893-1894.
You can find this door in Stockholm, Sweden in a district called Norrmalm.
